@MitchMartan98 I buy dip; don’t like trump but believe we will pump massively.
I always buy during panic and crying

Unpopular take: I still think there’s a method behind what we’re seeing from Trump and this admin..
Go back to April during the tariff panic. Equities were getting hit, sentiment was completely collapsing, people were losing their minds, in fact some of the best and brightest I know were throwing in the towel.
What did Trump actually acknowledge? Not really stocks but the bond market.
The bond market controls everything. It dictates the cost of capital, mortgage rates, liquidity, and most importantly the U.S. fiscal picture which we know is a disaster
The U.S. is running massive deficits, and if yields move too high, interest expense explodes and you lose control of the system. Trump knows this. He’s been clear from day one that he cares about debt and the fiscal situation.
So what does that mean in practice?
He’s willing to tolerate short term pain in equities, in sentiment to reset positioning and create better conditions longer term.
We’ve already seen the playbook yet people refuse to believe it: sharp drawdown → panic → positioning reset → powerful rally to new highs.
Most folded and were screaming calling Trump an idiot but the ones who stayed in or bought the dip got paid. How good would a reset + sustained rally through all time highs into the midterms look...?
Also we now today are seeing yields rising again. And imo that is where the line is.
He can't control them but I think he’s extremely sensitive to them.
Same with energy. Pain at the pump feeds directly into inflation and sentiment another pressure point he can’t let spiral.
So if yields spike hard enough, or energy becomes a real issue for a prolonged period, I think he backs off.
Tolerate the pain… until it hits the bond market or the consumer too hard. Then adjust. Call it whatever you want, but Trump is not dumb and I'd be willing to bet that theres a bigger idea at play here, he has Venezuelan oil.. why not control the straight to?

@TJTheWheelDeal Trump turned out to be a complete loser. I voted for him and honestly regret it: and yes Kamala would have been better

@BarrySafley I try to like him. I really do. He gives me this ugly vibe for some reason. He might very well be a super cool dude.

@mikealfred @udiWertheimer You starting to sound old Mike LOL

@udiWertheimer The American spirit used to mean something. This generation of pussies doesn’t drink or have sex and they sit around playing video games all day. No courage. No desire to interact in the real world. Sad.
