@Violet_Okami Oneblade is great for leg hairs for me as someone who shaves their legs SO infrequently. But yeah pretty shit on facial hair except upper lip or cheeks.

If you’re going to buy any of these to shave your face remember to WET SHAVE with them (Yes with shaving cream). They are all waterproof. Dry shaving is ass with them. They truly shine in wet shaving. Low budget? I have both the expensive arc 5 and budget series 3. The series 3 is slightly less effective than the arc 5 but the difference is negligible. The Arc 5 gets a closer shave with less passes and reduces risk of irritation more. Both are fine. Blades are cheap and only need to be replaced 1-1.5 years unless your hair is ultra thick. All you gotta do is clean them each week with soap and water. Don’t apply tons of pressure, not really needed especially for the more expensive arc series which has sensors to protect your skin and grab a close shave. You can shave in the shower with them, yes. I do it. When you’re done, set them on a little towel upside down with the blades facing down, this will prevent hard water gunk from building up on the inside (the battery is protected by a sealed rubber gasket don’t worry about that). They are rechargeable. The Arc series comes with a cleaning station, if you got the cash get it. It’s very much with it. Charges, dries and cleans the razor while you go about your day. Luxurious. These razors mainly shine on the face. They are mixed on other areas of the body. They each have a push out trimmer head for small areas like chest hair. Lastly, DO NOT BUY A F***ING PHILIPS ONE BLADE THEY ARE STRAIGHT GARBAGE. Testimonial: I have owned my Arc 5 since 2019, the battery finally died in 2025. The replacement took 5 minutes, works brand new. The battery did not get 1 drop of water on it thanks to the high quality gaskets protecting it. I’ve owned my Braun Series 3 proskin since 2022. I bought it as a secondary for traveling, it still runs strong to this day. I haven’t used a regular razor to shave my face since 2019 and Ive gotten closer shaves with virtually no irritation since and Ive had to shave every day for work. Normal razors, including safety razors, always got stuck in my hairs and couldn’t shave them close no matter what brand. Hopefully that’s enough info. I can’t answer everyone here.
