I wrote about this in my newsletter. The Weather Service didn't launch balloons recently and got surprised by tornadoes in Kansas. DOGE cuts at NWS cut out weather balloon launches which gather data for storm prediction. You are less safe because of that choice.

INSANE story. Basically a kidnapping. A woman was driving to get coffee when a DHS vehicle fleeing an angry crowd crashed into her. Armed agents jumped out, pulled her by the legs out of her car at gunpoint, held her incommunicado for hours, then released her with no charges.
