Technical curiosity will get you far in this industry. The best people I've worked with or hired over the years have been the ones that genuinely want to understand how something works, learn from it and continue to push themselves. As frustrating as tech can be at times, there's probably no better time to try something new for free. Learn to code, vibe code a small / personal project, setup a free AWS account and spin up an instance, read up on LLMs...but learn something.

Morning. The last 48 hours of Codex and ChatGPT Work have been intense! Three important updates: - Temporarily removing the 5 hour usage limit restriction for all Plus, Business and Pro plans - Rolling out changes that will make GPT 5.6 Sol more efficient across the board and that will be reflected in less usage being used so that it can take you further. macOS Beta installed. ✅ I’ve been using iOS beta for a while, and other than a few UI bugs that I reported, it’s been stable and performant. We’ll see what macOS brings.

@sama Custom 3D-printed cooling dock for my 10GbE switch. Using Sol + Fast mode + Computer Use. It did its own research on dimensions for the switch and 140mm cooling fan I intended to use. About ~45 minutes end-to-end autonomously using FreeCAD, Blender and PrusaSlicer.

i'd love to see interesting things people have built with 5.6 sol. i will send the person who made the coolest thing a special gift from the openai archives.
