Get Bitcoin exposure and acquire Italian residency. It is now possible to access the Italian Investor Visa by investing €250K in a Bitcoin-focused startup. We are excited to introduce the Italian pathway through Bitizenship. Our Italian company is the first investor visa-eligible startup that gives you exposure to Bitcoin. As an integrated solution, our approach has three key reasons why it is unique: 1. Fast-track approval: 3-6 months to visa authorization 2. Bitcoin exposure: BTC treasury and non-custodial staking as core company activity 3. True flexibility: Investment withdrawal permitted every 24 months Additionally, investment completes only after visa authorization, and preferential B-class shareholders capture 90% of Bitcoin-linked dividends. Italy is the ultimate lifestyle play for those who value culture, authenticity, and strategic optionality. If you're interested in combining Italian residency with Bitcoin exposure, get in touch at bitizenship.com/italy. We are based between Lisbon and Singapore, happy to discuss in person anytime if you're local.

The second passport market has inverted. Demand is spiking while supply is contracting and every government knows it. The window is narrowing, not widening. Second passports have shifted from a nice-to-have to a necessity. Americans, Brits, and Europeans are driving demand, not necessarily to move, but to hedge against politics, taxes, borders, education, healthcare, and uncertainty. I speak with dozens of people weekly. Each has a different priority, but everyone wants optionality. Governments are intentionally reducing that optionality. Portugal is extending naturalization timelines. Malta shut down its primary investment program. Romania withdrew its residency by investment proposal before launch. Others will follow. This creates a clear asymmetry: demand keeps rising, supply keeps shrinking. The outcome is predictable: higher prices and worse terms. Bookmark this: my expectation is constant increases in difficulty and/or pricing through 2026 and beyond. At Bitizenship, we build program offerings where you don’t need to liquidate Bitcoin to secure residency or citizenship. Portugal, Italy, and more are launching in ’26. Maintain exposure to inflation-resistant assets while gaining long-term optionality. That’s our core thesis.

Can Bitcoin buy you residency in Italy? Yes, and unlike other countries, Italy gives you the visa before you invest. Italy’s Investor Visa requires a €250k startup investment with no stay requirements. You get a 2-year visa, then 3-year renewals indefinitely as long as the investment remains. BTC funding is possible, although converting to fiat first is usually more efficient. Withdrawals open every 24 months, even in BTC. Portugal works differently: you invest first and wait months for approval. It is still the strongest EU citizenship pathway without relocating, even after the upcoming changes. Italy flips the model: approval first and capital later, making it extremely flexible overall. I recently discussed all of this with Bitcoin Magazine along with the broader Bitizenship journey. I hope you enjoy it!

Bitcoin fixes money. @Bitizenship fixes optionality. We built the first Portuguese Golden Visa fund that gives you: - Legal European residency - Exposure to Bitcoin’s upside That’s why we’ve partnered with @bitwise to go deeper. Because this is the future: Sovereign individuals creating new freedom stacks. I’m hosting a conversation with @Andre_Dragosch, European Head of Research at Bitwise, to explore a deceptively simple but fundamental question: Where will Bitcoin be in 2035? Not just price, but place in the world. What we'll cover: 1. Bitcoin’s performance vs. traditional assets 2. The role of institutional adoption and macro trends & what it means for price 3. How to build true long-term conviction (beyond hype & fear) 4. Scenarios for Bitcoin’s value in 2035 - from conservative to moonshot Whether you're a crypto investor, fund manager, or just curious about Bitcoin's role in the future economy, this webinar will give you valuable insights. - Date: June 5, 2025 - Time: 6 PM CET / 12 PM EST Join us. I had the pleasure of sitting down with @BradleyDukeBTC, Head of Europe @bitwise, on my podcast last week. Bitcoin ETFs are no longer a fringe idea. In 2020, a five-person startup in Germany launched the world’s first centrally cleared Bitcoin ETP. Within a year, it crossed $1 billion AUM. That startup was ETC Group. And it was just the beginning. In this episode we discussed everything Bitcoin – from why Bradley believes this cycle is different, the fall of trust in the US dollar, and why Europe’s strict regulators unexpectedly became crypto’s ally. An unlikely European Bitcoin success story! Enjoy! Link below👇 And happy Bitcoin all time high!

Want more freedom, security, and options for your future? A second passport isn’t just for billionaires or spies anymore. It’s the modern tool for financial diversification, travel flexibility, and geopolitical insurance; and it’s going mainstream. Entrepreneurs are getting one to unlock new markets. Families are getting one for safety and better education. Bitcoiners? They’re getting one to hedge against unstable governments. Here’s why dual citizenship is becoming the smartest move you can make in 2025, and how it works. 🧵 Read the full article → “Second Passport Benefits: Unlock Global Freedom”

The paths to European citizenship are rapidly changing. Malta's golden passport - gone. Italy's citizenship by descent program - restricted. I created a guide covering all the available options in 2025. If you'd like it, I'm sending it to my list tomorrow. Subscribe below👇

🇵🇹 Portugal vs. 🇬🇷 Greece. Which golden visa has the simpler citizenship route? Greece requires strong social ties, 6+ months of annual residence for 7 continuous years, AND advanced Greek language skills to naturalize. Portugal asks for minimal presence (7 days/year on average) for only 5 years and basic Portuguese. The answer is clear.
