@prntgdcolonized Edamame with a little oil and salt is good for fat and protein and isn’t variable like animal protein.

@prntgdcolonized Freeze dried fruit and fruit leather are good for being consistent texture and higher calorie than regular fruit.

@prntgdcolonized The sensory therapists said to think of things in categories: spicy, sour, crunchy, smooth, frozen, etc. Blueberries are too variable but frozen wild blueberries are a consistent texture and flavor! Corn is bland but with lime juice and tajin sprinkled on it yum!

@prntgdcolonized This has the most calories of any cereal when I last checked. Nice even texture and crunchy. Mine ate it dry as a snack.

@bitter_witch I have read about hotspots of cancers and lung issues in places where people burn biomass in their homes. would you say an initiative to convert gas appliances to electric ones would have a big impact on public health?

don't get this whole gas stove thing. by far the biggest polluter of NO2 is agriculture, accounting for 67% of nitrogen emissions. burning fuels and industrial emissions accounts for 10%, which also includes using cars. why is it this week's very bad thing to have a gas stove?

@froogbanana In places where they use coal, etc to heat and cook indoors they have a big problem with health outcomes directly related to it.

@froogbanana An epidemiologist friend explained to me that indoor air quality is a huge factor in the health quality of our homes. In the same way that mold, cockroaches, VOCs, and cigarette smoke affect your air quality, the gas stoves are impacting our health to a certain degree.

@strawberryautie Music is like a tickle on the bottom of your foot. And it’s so often used to provoke an emotional eruption. Why would I want that all the time??? My nervous system is already very skittish.
