Golden Tempo’s yearling groom, Bryce Lee, has quite the reaction to seeing his boy win the Kentucky Derby. Golden Tempo is our 11th Kentucky Derby winner raised @claibornefarm in the last 100 years. Many thanks to a wonderful staff that takes great care of our horses!

Before GOLDEN TEMPO won the #KentuckyDerby, his dam CARRUMBA had her own graded stakes moment in New York. Here she is winning the 2016 G3 Top Flight Invitational at Aqueduct. Ten years later, her son won the Derby. And the jockey aboard both? Jose Ortiz🌹

Note that both Flightline and Golden Tempo—from the same Phipps family—share Blitey as their 5th dam.
