@GraemeKelly1 Salah ‘selfish’ is one of the worst media narratives in football.. alongside salah dives.. the state of lazy reporting like this is embarrassing. He’s also one of the most underrated players in the game even though he’s widely regarded as one of the best. That’s how good mo is
English

I know why Andy, it’s cos you’re a xenophobic twat, glad I cleared it up. Cheers.

🤷♂️ 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝘆: “I know he is a great player, but he just does not do it for me.” 😡 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻: “Honestly, the disrespect!” Andy Goldstein & Darren Bent get into a 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 debate, over how good Salah is!
English

@jamesstarsailor you too mate. Can’t wait… I don’t care anyone else does, bring it on… up the reds

Thanks for your support! 🙌

The families deserve so much better. Now the people who continue to perpetuate the vicious rumours & lies will trot out the ‘well no one was convicted’ line. Despite the overwhelming evidence of wrongdoing in authority & the results of major enquiries. #JFT96
English

@AnfieldWatch Maybe we don’t talk about players leaving until they do. Gini has been brilliant for us and I think it’s pretty clear he would like to stay if he could
English

@WeeClarkie @sportbible that’s a very happy mo right there! It’s usually Joel matip with the prize expressions!
English

@vonstrenginho @SamMcGuire90 I thought the same but I think the walking motion takes his foot ahead of his body. If you stand and do it, you’re off balance..but walking, your foot would be ahead..it’s just a shit offside rule but I think it’s reasonable that his toe might be ahead of the body
English

@SamMcGuire90 I am no expert on anatomy and perspectives but I'm not convinced his right foot was what was closest to goal.
English

@GaryLineker It’s very simple... (1) clear daylight on offsides. A rule introduced to eliminate goal hanging should not be so restrictive to the attacker... (2) red card incidents that aren’t spotted by the ref during play. Everything else is the refs call in real-time as it used to be
English

Absolutely. I was very pro the idea originally, but happy to admit I was wrong. It’s actually changed the sport and certainly not for the better.
James Milner@JamesMilner
It’s “clear and obvious” we need a serious discussion about VAR. Sure I’m not alone in feeling like they are falling out of love with the game in its current state.
English

@GaryLineker @thisisanfield @TheDesKelly The perspective is that we (the public) have all had a very challenging year but look forward to games each week as a welcome moment of enjoyment. That’s not the case when games we pay to watch are losing players we pay to see, ending 10v10 or worse...which is the very real case
English

@thisisanfield @TheDesKelly You have a point, but my point, perhaps clumsily put, is stop the whining and maintain a perspective.
English

@sisteers Bobby still is and has been a game changer for our club... absolutely integral to our success. As much as it’s competition I also see him dropping behind the front 3, he’d be devastating
English

@DaleJohnsonESPN reckless? He got the ball without going through the back of the player. It’s a brilliant challenge (timed perfectly with high risk) that should have been applauded not punished. Great analysis but it’s not a foul
English

@SamMcGuire90 great insight. Fab is genuinely up there with the best cb’s in the league. We are still strong. Issue is matip can’t and won’t play every week... as you’ve pointed out we need height, it’s key. Fab & joe isn’t the answer. Matip so important until jan. Caleta-Car sounds ideal
English

Had a look at possible centre-backs Liverpool could sign in January and ended up finding Van Dijk's heir.
