@margaridamouta @doist You (and your beautiful illustrations) will be sorely missed at Doist, but I'm so happy for you to chase the next creative challenge. I'll always be rooting for you!

After 6 incredible years, I'm saying goodbye to @doist to embark on a new adventure & going freelancing full time.
Also, I *finally* launched my portfolio! You can have a look at what I've been up to this whole time here:

@_kud @todoist Sure can! Use "every! 2 weeks" to base the next recurrence off of when the task is completed. todoist.com/help/articles/…

@stevieby @todoist Yes, billing is centralized per team (though you wouldn't pay for teams you join). You could create a folder per client and invite clients as team guests (not members) to specific projects. #h_01HBYZVHR4NBQ84WACBT7T7RTS" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">todoist.com/help/articles/…

@bkaneMN @todoist Thanks. Yeah I see the workspace in the web app. One question is if I have multiple workspaces do I pay per workspace? For example if I join another workspace or set up another to work with another client? Also am on Pro at moment and I guess no way to do a pro rata upgrade?
English

Really impressed with @todoist new workspaces though wonder when iOS app is going to be upgraded. But by moving my work ones to a separate team I have now filter my today view by workspace. Do wonder about billing if I added another person. Do we both have to pay for workspace?
English

@todoist The new Todoist is truly getting better and better! However, while I like the teams addition, do I need to have this "Add a team [NEW]" button at the bottom? It clutters the interface. Keep up the great work!

I'm going to be using this more than I care to admit 🙈

Well, now that we're deep enough into the week to *maybe* have a few overdue tasks😅, we're pleased to announce that your Overdue section is now collapsible! It's perfect for when you need to focus on Today, before dealing with those stale or less-important tasks. 😃

@_johnsonator We should turn urban cemeteries on prime real estate into public parkland or housing. If moving my remains will ever have a tangible benefit for even one living, breathing human being, please do it. What do I care, I'm dead.
English

@VancityReynolds But you'll still be in all of the commercials, right?

In this week's Async Newsletter, Chase writes about our approach to building a strong remote culture that respects everyone's time and attention *and* fosters deep personal connections.

From @dcwarrington: "Fostering greater social connections won’t create a stronger team culture unless you’re first operating on clear and consistent values in your work" 💯

Most people leave websites within 10 secs. The same goes for emails and reports.
Quick fix? Use the 'inverted pyramid' technique and put the most critical info at the top.
Ask yourself, "What do my teammates need to know in 3 sentences?"

@realBrookNash And people who don't send any Slack messages at all 💆♀️

@pdrmnvd @williebsweet This new user had the same idea that you had about moving back to email and explains Twist really well:

I couldn't help thinking of this "Slack thread/msg -> email", but unfortunately I couldn't find a feasible way. So I looked for other tools with both instant messaging and email thread included, and it is @TwistWork.
English

@pdrmnvd @williebsweet twist.com :) It's an async alternative to Slack. Thread-based so conversations have a much longer lifespan. It's all public to your team by default (unlike email) but only the people you tag get notified re: new comments so it's much quieter than free-flowing chats
English

@emilieschario @williebsweet @doist @TwistWork I'm super biased, but I'd be happy to honestly answer any questions you have about how we use Twist as an async-first company. It's where ~90%+ of our communication happens as a team of ~100 people spread across ~18ish time zones
