Honestly man.. I know for the sake of competing THIS year, Rodgers is the guy for the Steelers. But I’d prefer not having him back. Not because he sucks. He’s fine for 9-11 wins. But I wanna see the youth play. Let’s rip the bandaid off and see what we have.

Sources: the Steelers placed the rare right-of-first-refusal tender on Aaron Rodgers, meaning that he can accept a 10 percent raise off last year’s salary, which would pay him about $15 million this season, and the Steeelrs also now will have the right to match any offer sheet he would sign with another team. As another condition of the tender, Rodgers would only be able to sign with the Steelers once training camp begins.

I’m not a talent scout. I’m just an irrational fan. And I wanted the Steelers to get an elite playmaker in the first round. Our offense has been cheeks for almost a decade. Sue me for not celebrating yet another lineman. I’m human. I like points. Not projects on OL.

@PaulZeise @bkeitsock I think the outlook is when they have an actual Quarterback Paul. Build a young talented front for the guy thats actually going to win a playoff game. Its not always checkers. Its known this draft is not great from 15-32 so idk where the lack of understanding is
