Took me a while to really think about this. My students have never been on a field trip. Never been on a bus. They’ve missed so much, but I’m glad I’m taking with into consideration!

Sorry I don't have a more fun tweet. I have been diagnosed with cancer. My oncologist is very optimistic that I can be cured, and I start 9 weeks of chemotherapy today. My Mustang family is already showing me so much love (they brought in a therapy dog!) I'm ready to beat this.

A3: Empower the student as a whole. Incorporate high-interest content. Content that reflects who they are (race, gender, and class). And give them an opportunity to take the test again, especially if they want to show that they can do better. #proudtobeLBUSD

A4: Read as a punishment. Reading as extra work when you're done. This goes with CORE 5 and ST Math too. #ProudtobeLBUSD
