I don’t know why we spend over 20 years in education, only to end up struggling to find jobs. I spent years studying, and now it feels like the most valuable thing I learned was just reading and writing which doesn’t take two decades. If the main goal of university is supposed to be getting a job, then it doesn’t really feel like it works anymore. A lot of jobs outside of degrees seem easier to get anyway, so it makes me question why we’re paying so much for university and investing so many years into it. This whole system feels like it needs to change.

tbh i feel like it’s almost impossible for computer science grads to find jobs nowadays. the expectations just keep getting more unrealistic, like companies don’t want someone to join a team, they want one person to be the whole team
