Fwiw, I also have an original #iPhone in perfect working order, though not in as pristine condition as the one that just sold for $63k. First $20k takes it.

On a daily basis I find myself missing the days when the iPhone sleep/wake button was on the top instead of on the side. Just me? #iPhone

@moonpolysoft At best, this seems a lot less efficient than putting onion powder… *on the food* that you want to be flavored with it.

So nice to see daylight at 7PM last night. I refer to the day we spring forward as “New Year’s Day”.

#python folks - I’m faced w/ some code using pytest. I’ve never used it. Based on my experience trying to trace down how/where/what fixture data came from where, I’m not sure I want to. Just me, or is this a little too “magical” and implicit?

@kapehe_ok I just like to solve problems. I was pursuing electronics, but my sister was in tech & it paid a lot better, and I could still tinker & solve problems, so I jumped.

It seems like famous people in selfies w/ a fan almost universally point at the fan in the pic. Has anyone been through celebrity training that could enlighten us as to why this might be?

I can’t recall which @Apple #iPhone model moved the on/off button from the top to the side, but I’ve never stopped missing the old layout, and I’m angered by the current layout multiple times per week. Just me?

@petershankman Trick question? I read this as a bicycle shop that does repairs and has wheels in stock for repairs, which is unrelated to the number of fully-assembled bicycles in the shop. Maybe it’s really an English question, not math? ;-P

IT SHOULD BE CALLED MATH AND XANAX NOT MATH AND COFFEE. XANAX WOULD BE MUCH BETTER FOR ME AT THIS MOMENT.

I'm at my daughter's school for a "math and coffee" gathering for the parents and the teachers are making us solve an equation to find our seat and THEY'RE NOT LETTING US USE OUR PHONES AND I'M HAVING SERIOUS FLASHBACKS TO HIGH SCHOOL ANXIETY AND I WANNA GO HOME.

I hit a reset button & left executive life 3 years ago to return to writing code, running systems, munging data, and generally having my hands back on a keyboard. I could not be happier. 5 out of 5 stars. Would hit that reset button again. #python #golang #linux #leadership

Tell engineers the problem. Then let them execute toward a very fast failure & iterate from there. It *is not* better to spend (often more) time ruminating about the most-right path before any execution begins. That most-right path is almost never even… right.
