@YankeeLibrarian Why can't he be reliable in the long term? He has a more than reliable track record, including his time with the Yankees last season and the WBC this year. He's just going through a rough patch as every closer in history has, including Mo!

The Yankees will always have a closer who falls apart at some point. David Bednar got the save tonight, but it’s hard to see how he can be reliable in the long term. Maybe he'll put it together at some point, but it has been dicey with him since the WBC.
