@ecofiz1 @R_C_OConnor I don't know how the speakers were chosen, but I don't think there was a formal submission process. But still lots of opportunities for discussion if you want to attend! The research talks will make up a pretty small overall portion of the workshop.

This is coming out of the recent old-growth forest report by the DOI and USDA, which found that PJ was the most widespread remaining old-growth forest type in the US

@dendromecon27 Looks kinda like the cherry plums that are planted all over town. The leaves tend to be green on the seedlings and get redder over time.
