@babybeginner Locking door as soon as I get home. No open windows at night. Crossing the street at night when I'm by myself and see male(s). No longer snoozing in the park after I was assaulted (at busy daytime!). Crossing the street when I see someone with a bully dog (after being attacked).

Ladies, what kinds of things do you do to keep safe? How does it affect your life? I’ll start with not opening windows at night. I miss the fresh air.

I'm not against animal experiments if they are for a genuine medical need. To me, phalloplasty is not that (even as a male if you lose your penis, sorry but you will never get it back!) so using female DOGS seems extremely cruel: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29525539/

I can't imagine how horrified many girls will feel if they know a boy will be in there too or that they should expect and accept males...

I don’t know if you’ve heard, but in Texas this month a group of SIX YEAR OLD boys pulled a little girl under a desk, forced her to perform a sex act, and FILMED IT ON THE SCHOOL’S IPAD. Oh, and the kicker? The school didn’t tell the parents! They only found out when their daughter starting acting differently: not sleeping, nightmares, bed wetting, withdrawn. When she told them and they went to the school, they find out the school already knew! Principal said he had “done everything he was legally obliged to.” So yes! She should tell the parents!!!!

@Brill_Brum @WhistleblowingT Nope, this person isn't this child's doctor it seems so they aren't bound to confidentiality. Also, someone's sex shouldn't be information that falls under patient/doctor privilege because it is an essential thing for others to know when they interact with people.

@WhistleblowingT It’s the role of the HT and Governors, not you, to tell parents. If you do as you are thinking you break all sort of laws and confidentiality agreements around child protection, privacy, and more. Child comes first.

@WhistleblowingT Yes, you should send an email, anonymous if you have to, to people you know have children in that school and ask them to spread it to other parents. All kids and parents have the right to know about such infringement of rights (in this case, of girls).
