DALOT IS NOT GARBAGE. People love screaming about one misplaced cross but go completely silent when Diogo Dalot locks down his entire flank for 90 minutes. In Carrick’s system, his role isn’t just “run forward and spam crosses” like some FIFA fullback. It’s discipline. Structure. Control. And Dalot does that better than most. You want to talk about duels? He’s not flashy, he’s effective. Wingers don’t enjoy playing against him because he doesn’t dive in recklessly… he waits, reads, and shuts it down. But of course, one failed overlap and suddenly he’s “not good enough” 😭 Football isn’t just vibes and highlight reels. Some of you genuinely don’t understand the game beyond Twitter comps.

Every other thing you said I might agree with. Dalot is consistent and injury free most of the time. But he is not a Manchester United Right back. Every Manchester united right back except Gary Neville, are wing backs. Creating width and becoming and attacking threat. “Defenders” must know how to “defend”, it’s in the name. Dalot isn’t great at that either. He is a good rotational player. Once we have a decent right back, you will come back to this conversation.

⚠️ If BoG keeps losing, it may lose credibility = cedi could weaken again The bottom line: BoG spent big money to fight inflation and stabilise the cedi. Some of that "loss" is real. Some is just accounting. The susu box isn't empty; but the susu master borrowed heavily to keep

First, what IS the Bank of Ghana? Think of BoG like the "big susu master" for the whole country. It doesn't serve YOU directly. It serves all the other banks. It controls how much money is in the system, fights inflation, and protects the cedi. Its job is NOT to make profit.

Bank of Ghana announced they lost GH¢15.6 billion last year. This is their 4th year of losing money, and now they are GH¢94 billion in the negative. That means the things they own (like gold and bonds) are worth less than what they owe. It’s like your susu box is empty but you still owe your friends a lot of money. Can someone please explain this to me like I’m 5 years old: How did they lose so much money? And what does this mean for a normal Ghanaian like me?
