Blackbox Devlog #02 Over the last fortnight, UI rework continued, with forward planning on both hardware and integrations. The goal of this stretch is to lock the UI down so the more advanced integrations can move. UI — Wi-Fi flow refactor: ▪️Dropped procedural icon drawing in favour of better quality PNG icons ▪️Three new screens: network scan (network list, scrollbar, loading state), password entry (full QWERTY keyboard), and Wi-Fi settings (toggle, password masking, error modal) ▪️New ui_primitives additions: draw_qwerty / hit_qwerty, draw_modal, draw_toggle, draw_password_field with eye toggle, draw_network_row, and draw_scrollbar ▪️Static review of Step 4 wiring complete: render dispatch, touch dispatch, primitive coverage, and PNG asset audit Hardware & integrations: ▪️V2 prototype board is now on the bench and under testing ▪️NFC integration planned for the next stage ▪️Fiber integration research underway

UI redesign ongoing Based on valuable expert feedback, we have the basis for a UI redesign that will enhance user experience. The most recent focus: a primitives layer, plus Home and Settings screens. Python preview scripts for fast iteration without flashing hardware each time. After a well-deserved break following the successful round of testing and feedback of the Blackbox prototype, we've spent the last few months creating plans for the next iteration of Blackbox. Blackbox is an all-in-one fiat and crypto point of sale terminal that uses the latest advancements in blockchain technology to offer highly scalable, low cost crypto payment settlement, alongside traditional fiat payment solutions.
