The fact that it’s hard wired into our culture through massive events like xmas and into our memories - is really interesting. Because it'll be harder and harder to ignore the fact we don't get snow anymore, and the reason why - climate change. Obvs.

Latest UK labour market stats are dire. Job vacancies at a ten-year low (bar pandemic). Over 200,000 added to the dole since Labour came to power — taking unemployment from 4.2% to 4.7%. The 24 to 35 age-group suffering sharpest fall in employment as firms cut back on graduate recruitment (see my recent article on this dismal trend). Those on Universal Credit have soared by 1m under Labour to record 8m. So much for reforming welfare.
