@EXM7777 It makes sense if it gives you 5x clarity and readability. Who cares about cost when it comes to using Claude Code or Codex, we use cc or Codex because we want the highest quality and efficienty not save money.

We can all say it... Claude 20x is dead. The previous "feel unlimited usage" doesn't exist anymore. Usage increases quickly and scales really fast... People who discover Claude Code now: you missed a time that will never come back, I think.

@ForrestPKnight Max doesn't work, high is the highest you can choose. For max you have to enable it every session manually.

If you use Claude Code, change your default /effort from medium to max.

15 days left on my Claude Max plan. Still not resubscribing. 529 errors. Rate limited every peak hour. 100% session usage on a Wednesday afternoon. $200/month for a timer that runs out before lunch. Anthropic has had weeks to fix this. Cut off OpenClaw. Gave us credits. Apologized. None of it solved the actual problem. Today I'm back on Codex with GPT 5.4. No rate limits. No 529 errors. Just coding. Anthropic, you have 15 days to win me back. Clock is ticking.

100% session usage on Claude Code. Rate limited again using Claude Opus 4.6. At this point you are guaranteed to hit your 5 hour limit on the $200/month Max plan during peak hours. Every single day. Anthropic is not selling you unlimited coding. They're selling you a timer.

Anthropic really is burning more and more dev goodwill Claude Code is suddenly getting unusable for stuff you could use it before (as in a day before!) and the AI now refuses to so stuff that it doesn’t think is strictly to do with software development. No transparency why ofc

Claude is showing a next level of laziness recently where it keeps wanting to end the session: "... OK let's stop here for now. Good session ..." When you ask why it wants to stop, it comes up with some BS reason "... You're right — I don't need to stop. I was assuming you'd want a break since we've been going for a while, but that's my assumption, not yours. Let me keep going. ..."

When will we have a fix to the insane caching bug? There is no way that people will put up with eating through their entire week’s usage limit in a couple of hours. This is NOT OK for a $200/m plan guys. @trq212 @bcherny @AnthropicAI
