As I sit here tonight sulking about how tonight ended, I can’t help but think about @austnsimmons. In a huge moment of sadness, for the entire fanbase, I sat in my seat and watched Austin sit at the end of the tunnel and high five/hug every single guy who walked off the field, knowing it’d obviously be the last time they shared the field together. Austin handled this past year with such grace. Beginning the year as a starter, getting injured, and ultimately, losing his job to Trinidad. I’m not going to lie, watching Austin hit the portal and commit to @MizzouFootball, put me in my feels. But he did it with SUCH class and dignity, and vowed to be by our side through it all. Maybe I’m doing too much here, but I don’t care. Just wanted to share this moment with whoever comes across it and hope that it gets back to Austin and Mizzou FB. We love him, like, a lot lol. Take care of him, @MizzouFootball. We’ll always be in your corner, @austnsimmons!!
