Excited to share that my role at @CBSSports is expanding. Will be moving into a national NFL/national college football senior reporter position. Will still be covering college football on a full-time basis. Will now be covering the NFL on a full-time basis as well.

UNLV has signed NC State guard transfer Alyn Breed, @chris_hummer and I have learned. Will be a seventh college season for Breed, who made seven starts at NC State last season. Got a medical redshirt for the 2024-25 season and redshirted the 2023-24 season.

Maryland has signed Temple running back transfer Terrez Worthy, @chris_hummer, @JTalty and I have learned. Ran for 496 yards in 16 games at Temple. Was also Temple’s kick returner in 2024. Before Temple, led the JUCO level with 1,492 rushing yards in 2023.

UC Santa Barbara has signed Texas forward transfer Declan Duru, @chris_hummer and I have learned. The 6-8, 235-pounder was a Class of 2025 top 120 overall recruit. Played in 12 games as a freshman at Texas last season.

Coastal Carolina has signed Memphis forward transfer Ashton Hardaway, @chris_hummer and I have learned. Hardaway, the son of Penny Hardaway, is a former top 120 overall recruit who made nine starts for Memphis last season.

Reynolds finished his NFL player career with 117 career tackles. Was linebackers coach and an assistant special teams coach under Michael Vick at Norfolk State last season. Felton, a 2020 All-Pac 12 RB, was a 2021 Browns sixth-round pick. Played in the NFL through last year.

A source tells @CBSSports that the #Browns have added two ex-players to their staff — ex-NFL linebacker LaRoy Reynolds and ex-NFL running back DeMetric Felton. Reynolds played linebacker in the NFL from 2013-21. Felton played for Cleveland in 2021 and ‘22. Now working there.

At Central Michigan during that 2024-25 season, Jarusevicius posted double-digit points in 20 of his final 21 games, including 32 points along with 10 rebounds against both Akron and Kent State

Jarusevicius was expected to be a big factor for Nebraska last season but only played in one game due to injuries

Arizona has signed Nebraska forward transfer Ugnius Jarusevicius, @chris_hummer and I have learned. Before Nebraska, the 6-11, 220-pounder averaged 16.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game at Central Michigan during the 2024-25 season.

App State has signed UConn center transfer Rrezon Elezaj, @chris_hummer and I have learned. The 7-foot-2 Elezaj redshirted as a freshman at UConn last season. Before UConn, was part of Turkey’s 2025 FIBA U18 Eurobasket team.

Navy has promoted Danny Payne to director of roster and game management, a source tells me and @chris_hummer. He’ll essentially be Navy’s GM. Was offered jobs this offseason by P4 programs and interviewed with NFL teams as well but ultimately decided to stay at Navy.

Boise State has signed Illinois guard transfer Ty Rodgers, @chris_hummer and I have learned. Didn’t play the last two seasons, including last year due to a knee injury, but the 6-6, 210-pounder was a starter at Illinois as a sophomore during the 2023-24 season.

Virginia Tech has signed NC State forward transfer Musa Sagnia, @chris_hummer and I have learned. The 6-10, 235-pounder played in 34 games as a freshman at NC State last season. Had ranked as one of the top uncommitted big men in the portal.

Xavier has signed Drake guard transfer Braden Applehans, @chris_hummer and I have learned. Career 40-percent 3-point shooter.

Texas A&M has signed Arkansas State running back transfer DD Murray, @chris_hummer and I have learned. Texas native who ran for totals of 3,361 yards and 57 touchdowns his final two high school seasons. Has four years of eligibility remaining.

In addition, Miami is promoting Will Harris to secondary coach and defensive pass game coordinator, sources tell @CBSSports. Was Miami’s safeties coach last season and helped the team finish fifth nationally in scoring defense. Now, being promoted heading into Year 2 at Miami.
