Third Year English students enjoyed an enjoyable and informative class via Zoom on creative writing, given by Lily Cahill from MoLI, the Museum of Literature Ireland, Dublin.

Well done to all who wore in their Christmas Jumpers today in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.

Banagher College will hold a Christmas Jumper Day on this Friday December 6th in aid of Cystic Fibrosis. All donations will go to Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.

Second year students enjoyed a wonderful History trip to the Epic Emigration Museum in Dublin today. They also got to experience what life was like for the Irish who emigrated during The Great Hunger on board the Jeanie Johnston famine ship.

Well done to our dedicated English Teachers who are out and about at the iNote conference in Portlaoise today Saturday, listening to the keynote speaker; Award-winning author Dr. Katriona O'Sullivan.
