I was part of the discussion. Will add comments after reading the post completely.
In general I like the idea of the SF and adaptions to the FS. I would not limit the FS to 0% algo ratio, but allow some, but I understand the reasons behind it. And those are parameters that could be changed later too.
The big question will be, how to find devs to implement this.
