Some notes on Lamar: Loved the approach tonight up and down the lineup and throughout the game for Lamar. Lots of high high quality AB’s and lots of barrels. Texas ran out a gauntlet of arms and Lamar rose to the occasion. Reese Beheler is going to continue to be a force in this Lamar lineup. Love his approach and effortless power from the left side. Big fan of Braden Benton from Northwestern State. Professional hitter who took some very high quality AB’s For as much of a transfer team as Lamar is, the dugout was active. Lots of noise despite the game going 12 innings. High energy, feels like a Will Davis team. Its one of the top portal classes in the country and it showed tonight Credit to the Lamar staff, they ran out over a dozen arms.
