And even Mississippi The sheer number of Metro New Orleanians that register their cars at their second home in Alabama or Florida are staggering. They are saving on their car insurance. A friend of mine has a place in Birmingham. To insure his SUV in New Orleans is $3400 a year. In Birmingham, $1200 a year. These bullshit advertising attorneys, on radio, television and billboards, are the number one reason. The insurance companies are far from perfect. But the so-called injury attorneys, that wouldn’t know where the courtroom is located, that are simply insurance company facilitators, they are the culprit.
