Good Morning X Gaming Community,
Last night I had a realization and a conversation with myself since I couldn't sleep.
The world is already heavy with enough negativity and hate, and unfortunately, the gaming community is no exception. I realize that everyone has their own opinions—which is completely fair—but all too often, those differences turn into personal attacks.
I’ll be the first to admit that I’m 100% guilty of this, too. I’m far from perfect and I’ve made my fair share of mistakes, but I’ve reached a point where I don't want to contribute to that toxicity anymore. Life is far to short to be negative about a hobby that I want to enjoy.
Moving forward, I’m still going to hold onto my opinions, but my goal is to be a positive force in a very cynical space. That doesn't mean I’m going to start praising bad games or overlooking bad behavior; it just means I’m making a conscious choice to stop adding unnecessary negativity to the conversation.
