I went to Oxford to sit down with @OleMissFB quarterback Trinidad Chambliss.
Rise to prominence. His coach leaving. Beating the Dawgs in the Sugar Bowl. Fighting the NCAA. Hell of a year.
In describing the emotion of the legal back-and-forth towards his sixth-year of eligibility, he said:
"It was like a slow death. Super long. A weight was lifted when it was finally cleared."
Our piece:
First, I want to thank God, my family, and my coaches for believing in me and supporting me through this journey.
With that being said, I’m blessed to announce that I have committed to Ole Miss.

This past Saturday, I had the incredible honor of serving as a guest speaker at the Disabled Outdoorsmen USA 5th Annual Banquet. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many inspiring individuals and to meet the amazing men and women who make this organization so special. Every conversation and every story shared reminded me of the strength, resilience, and heart within this community. I give all the glory to God for allowing me to be in that room and for continuing to open doors that let me share my journey. I am forever thankful to be a part of such an outstanding organization and look forward to continuing to support the powerful mission of Disabled Outdoorsmen USA.
My quote of the week is simple: “Let your success speak for itself.” It takes me back to something many of us were taught growing up at the dinner table, do not eat and talk at the same time. The lesson was about manners, but it was also about focus and humility. When you are busy doing the work, you do not need to constantly talk about what you are accomplishing. The results will speak louder than any words ever could. Scripture reminds us in Book of Proverbs 16:18 that pride comes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. I believe success is best carried with humility. When I stay focused, disciplined, and grounded in faith, I let my work and my character do the talking for me.
