At least the new @SEPTA_SOCIAL app isn't asking me if I want to download a new schedule every time I use it...that did drive me crazy. I'm hoping in time I will find some other positives about the new app.

When I try to search temple university as a work destination it is not found... how is that possible? Am I doing anything wrong? Also I want to favorite Haverford station to temple station on PAO but it's not finding the temple station on Berks. Any advice?

@mikelark @jsench We had a student this semester, when provided with call numbers for the books they asked for, then asked "what am I supposed to do with these". It is rare but likely to increase as school districts eliminate libraries and professional librarians to staff them.

@jsench My daughter works at her university library and confirms this. Most students ask if they can “rent this book” or come in looking to buy their class textbook. 🙄

If you teach in a college or university (or probably at any level) I urge you to give an assignment (extra credit is great) that asks students to locate a print book on a shelf in a library & to check it out. Most have never done this in their lives and they learn a lot from it.
