@clhubes A guest at my house ordered late night UberEats and the driver decided to park on my lawn (?!?) instead of the huge driveway. There had been recent floods so the car sank into my lawn and he ripped it up trying to get out. Took two hours for a tow truck. Ruined everyone’s night

@dingfelder @Da_Fixxer We have a Still Spirits reflux column and an alembic dome. The basket goes immediately below the condenser at the top of the dome.

@blendy @Da_Fixxer What sort of still are you using and do you have a gin basket? I’m trying to determine the best place in the column to locate one

Any gin distillers out there? I just bought a kit to start making some - keen to discuss some technical details like where the gin basket should go and what sort botanicals to start out with - here is the business end of my acquisition - a 3” column with a 65L boiler

@Da_Fixxer That sounds interesting - now I’m wondering what sort of chemicals ? The only thing I’m adding right now is sugar, yeast and water - once fermented and I get to distilling then I’ll need to add spices (and fruit etc maybe) - and things like juniper (or native) berries etc
