@MUSASAZIM Cyberstalking is as dangerous as physical stalking but we take it lightly . Whether you are tracking down your partner, ex, or whoever on a digital platform without their consent, it's digital violence.

Let’s talk. What online behaviour do people brush off as “normal” but is actually digital violence against women and girls? Drop your thoughts below, awareness starts with conversation.

A very special thank you to the community of BANKET and @CanEmbZimbabwe for the 16 days film screening dialogue on ending violence against women and girls. Provoking discussions were had by both men and women on causes of GBV&VAWG ad well as how to end it

@BTonhodzayi Sure. Let's stand tall for a noble cause. Promoting gender equality is everyone's responsibility. The costs of GBV know no gender it affects us all as a community/country.
Thank you for initiating the insightful conversation. We really need more of these.

@blessChiwara91 We need to keep having conversations so that there is greater appreciation that this is collective. It’s a societal issue, men, women all have a role to play in responding to GBV.
English

@BTonhodzayi It's very true that the laws are there to protect women but there is resistance embedded in our culture. We have to work on that through educational campaigns. Information is power.

Women between the ages of 15 and 44 face a higher risk of rape and domestic violence than cancer, car accidents or even malaria.
This is not just a statistic, it’s a crisis unfolding in our homes and communities every day.

Musasa held Padandaro Revarume men’s dialogues in Guzha (Ward 17) and Sote (Ward 19) today, creating open spaces for men to reflect on toxic masculinity, power imbalances and harmful social norms that fuel violence.
The sessions focused on transforming attitudes, promoting positive masculinity and positioning men as allies in the fight against GBV.
Participants pledged to champion respectful, non-violent and equitable cultural and religious values within their communities.
Similar engagements are ongoing in Mberengwa this week.
