The whole purpose of the Asuka vs Iyo Sky match is to get to the Kairi Sane face turn angle. Once the 1v1 match happens you got to turn Kairi face. Rushing the match for Mania at this point with how the story stalled for so long & lost steam with it only picking up in the last few weeks would ruin the purpose of the story which is to make Kairi a bigger babyface. The crowd isn’t yet their for Kairi face turn angle so delaying the match to Backlash helps it pick up steam. Allowing the crowd to be there for when Kairi does turn face.

It’s honestly a disgrace that both Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez are missing out on WrestleMania. Both deserved a spot in the Women’s World Championship match... especially Raquel after the year she just had. Huge miss by WWE.
