@OpenreachHelp You are called OpenReach, but you don't allow contact from the public. I have a full fibre installation that will need a PTW waiver for unadopted land but instead OR is caught in an auto permission loop that will end in an unnecessary cancellation. Anyone?

@WeAreOpenreach Your system has already made many attempts (since early Jan) without success and I already know the status of the land from previous works myself and neighbours have carried out (including laying water pipes and Tarmacing). This is heading for an unnecessary cancellation.

@WeAreOpenreach I feel my provider has done all they can to make your system aware that the land is unadopted but your system is still trying to contact a 'ghost' landlord and won't approach me, the end user, for PTW.

@WeAreOpenreach That is understandable if the situation was different. The problem is that the land is unregistered [we know from previous works - alongside neighbours]. So the order will fail without a PTW - but both my provider and myself can't get in touch with OR to tell them.

@blibblog have sent the land owners the PTW to sign so we can proceed with the installation. I would recommend keeping in contact with your provider as they manage your order for you and they have got contact routes into ourselves to get this resolved for you ^Gary (2/2)

@WeAreOpenreach I had a call from Open Reach but it got cut off and I was sent a reschedule link by Open Reach but it didn't work. So now I am concerned that the major engineering works that are needed will either not be scheduled or double booked.

@WeAreOpenreach Trying to schedule an appointment for an engineer and your online process says there is a problem but offers no solution and doesn't want to offer any contact details. Not very helpful.

UK polling station was completely empty. Shame on you if you have a vote and don't use it. Spoil your ballot paper if you feel all parties are the same (if you think that you're an idiot). People fight and die to save democracy - this apathy is pathetic. #UKElections2024

We should eliminate electronic voting machines. The risk of being hacked by humans or AI, while small, is still too high.

Puerto Rico’s primary elections just experienced hundreds of voting irregularities related to electronic voting machines, according to the Associated Press. Luckily, there was a paper trail so the problem was identified and vote tallies corrected. What happens in jurisdictions where there is no paper trail? US citizens need to know that every one of their votes were counted, and that their elections cannot be hacked. We need to return to paper ballots to avoid electronic interference with elections. @BladeoftheS Like everything it is not as simple as that. Simplifying is the problem on both sides. I intensely dislike his views but I also dislike how we have to simplify everything for people to form an opinion.

OK... I have had a chance to take a good look at the Labour Manifesto...it's well considered, comprehensive and although I know none of us will like everything ( I am disappointed around the support for Nature..although I welcome the clean rivers and new forests) there is some seriously good stuff in it. I think it's time for a new approach...we were stuck in a reactive pinball game and now limbo when we need to move forward. I want a serious Government and that looks very much like Labour to me.

Btw the clarifications Adobe issued are still lacking. The implications this has for people working on NDA’s or their own work is huge.
Bottom line is NO company should EVER give themselves access to abuse customer’s data & work this way.
