@blixadon Not related to 3D but may be helpful. When the sketch is done I use transform to exaggerate the pose, proportions, etc. If I try to do it while sketching I can’t go that far. You could also rasterize the 3D model and use transform or liquify to bring it closer to your liking.

timelapse I tried drawing straight from 3d pose cuz I see a lot of other artists do it. But I actually found it harder to make it look natural.

@blixadon i think it's because using a 3d doll is basically like tracing the body. and if you have a different artstyle, your proportions might be off with the 3d model

@blixadon I think it might come from the brain trying to stay with the shape of the 3d model rather than using it as a guide. Try exaggerating out of the 3d model to break out of that mold to make brain forget about following the 3d model. Fantastic art btw.

@blixadon Clip Studio figures look ugly as hell, even with the premium version. they don't have accurate muscle definition, and when moved to extreme poses they disintegrate.
