While this is true, I still have NEVER seen reception to an ending as brutal as AoT’s. Manga readers who came into the game post-2021 don’t know what true lashings look like.
It felt like EVERY page got dunked on or became a meme. With other endings there’s like one or two plot beats that people linger on. 139 just kept getting beaten down, even with the patches 💀 MAPPA and anime-onlys did insane rehabilitation

@WorthlessBaka Natsu can't canonically eat God Slayer Fire. I think Ryujin Jakka having killed the son of a god qualifies. Given how Yuhaba dodged it because he sensed he would die if he touched the blade.
