Here is your Can't Buy Me Love Class of 2024, taking their final bow before tonight's heart-stopping finale.
“Entering the show, we knew it was going to be very, very different,” says Donny Pangilinan. “'Yong story, nag-e-evolve with you in it, and leading it together with Belle, the pressure was there.” With Can’t Buy Me Love running for over six months and its inevitable twists and turns, it was important to Donny and his partner Belle Mariano that their fans would be along for the ride.
“I’d say Can’t Buy Me Love has broken so many boundaries in terms of the teleserye scene in the Philippines,” Darren Espanto shares. “We're so happy with the outcome all the time kasi ang ganda-ganda.”
And putting together such an exciting, talented young cast has set it apart further, giving viewers so many complex and endearing characters to root for—and definitely miss, whether it’s the elegant but messy Tiu siblings or the meddling besties-for-life tenement kids of Binondo. “I think the chemistry of everyone in the cast is so precious and adds so much color to an already exciting storyline,” Kaila Estrada says. “We’re all really close and I’m going to miss this cast so much.”
“I hope fans remember our show as the one where they fell in love even more with DonBelle,” says director Mae Cruz-Alviar. “I hope they remember it as the show that not only brought them to the edge of their seats, but also made their hearts flutter.”
