What are you doing if bitcoin drops to $80k?

My experience is that the closer someone is to the TradFi system, the less likely they are to understand Bitcoin. This is true irrespective of intelligence. Bitcoin can’t be valued like traditional assets, so if a cash flow based excel model is your framework, Bitcoin will indeed appear worthless.

My brother is the smartest person I know. Harvard undergrad. Stanford MBA. Top hedge funds: Goldman, Millennium, Perry Capital. Never drank, never smoked. Ethically untouchable. A real-life monk genius with laser focus. I looked up to him my whole life. Still do. So when he tells me Bitcoin is worthless… it shakes me. He says: ‘There’s nothing unique about it. It’s random code. A joke. It should track inflation. Nothing more.’ (Screenshot below is from him.) And yet… I see something he doesn’t. I feel something he won’t. I’ve watched broken people find purpose. Lonely people find community. Lost people find meaning. We call it Bitcoin. He calls it delusion. And maybe he’s right. Maybe I’m crazy.
