With the help of AI, even solo builders now have the power to ship like small teams. @jonah_b got a front-row seat at @phklive's hackathon, and noted several standout projects. As software becomes more and more commodity, it's likely that value will accrue in new ways.

I judged @phklive’s hackathon over the weekend, and it was radicalizing. One team deployed custom onchain prediction market contracts as a throwaway demo to showcase their private overlay. The prediction market was not even the main point. Another built and shipped a full compliance suite with a slick dashboard for AI agents in a weekend. A few months ago, any single feature from one of these demos would have won a hackathon. Some of these projects would have been credible seed demos. AI is giving builders absurd leverage... but if software is this easy, what does that say about the value of software?
