@AndrewBerkshire Amen, being saying this for years. Minor/Junior hockey is a meat grinder that gets infinitely easier when you know you're guaranteed ice time no matter how you play. Having your dad own the organization or league is like the "Parent Coach" on steroids.

I don't know if it holds up but a) I remember really enjoying this movie as an 80s teen comedy, and b) it seemed weird that Mark Harmon wasn't a bigger star. He was legit charming in the movie.

One of the funniest parts of NHL 2K7 is that every team is assigned three major rivals and two minor rivals.
Atlanta's major rivals are apparently Carolina (makes sense), Toronto (??), and Ottawa (????)

I mean, I like the changes to downtown Tucson and there’s great food and drink and hotels…but part of me does miss risking a stabbing in the old 4th Ave underpass just so I could get greasy food served by heroin hipsters at Grill before window shopping the Wig O Rama.

Forgot how when Hotel Congress tells you its rooms are “loud” they’re not kidding. Bed was shaking until 3am, and not in the fun way. Still a great place, a classic Tucson destination. Impressed with all the changes downtown. The Buffet bar, however, remains the same. Glorious.
