@daylerees found out why the foreign key example in Code Bright isn't working: just make sure your tables use InnoDB and not MyIsam.

@daylerees tried to create tables with foreign keys and it worked perfectly. Php 5.3.26, mysql 5.1.36 and latest Laravel.
