except kobe copied all the greats, not just mj. he took after hakeem, jerry west, gary payton, reggie miller, even wade who was younger than him yet he asked him how he splits double teams so well.
kobe was a true student of the game. if you wanna be great, emulate those who were great before you.
THAT is making your own way.
Witness King James@WITNESSKJ
I’ll keep it very simple: MJ was MJ. Kobe did everything in his power to be a carbon copy of MJ. LeBron went his own direction and just became better than anyone who’s ever lived.

Big fan of Chicago style dogs and well prepared chili dogs, but this might be the best looking glizzy I’ve ver seen. Definitely gonna try this out.

@Artdemon323 @BlerdAmongUs @_ImJordo @sammymac1071 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 35.8 not far off lol. My point was that he balled out
English

@blowflyboy @BlerdAmongUs @_ImJordo @sammymac1071 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 He didn’t average 35. He averaged 36/13/9 and led his team in defensive rating.
English

Amare Stoudemire says Kobe was Harder to Guard than Lebron 🔥🔥
"Because Kobe was like, you know there was no weaknesses. With Lebron we said alright make him shoot, we back off make him shoot and sometimes he might not get hot, so you can back off of Lebron. Kobe was like you can't back off of him, you can't force him left, you can't make him turn around jumper, like everything we try to make him do he does well, so its like no game planning for Kobe"

@Artdemon323 @BlerdAmongUs @_ImJordo @sammymac1071 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 Got me out here defending Bron. Bro averaged 35. What is he talking about?!?
English

@BlerdAmongUs @_ImJordo @blowflyboy @sammymac1071 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 How? He was missing his 2nd and 3rd option against a 67 win team.

@_ImJordo @Artdemon323 @sammymac1071 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 Look at God, we got something we agree on lol
English

@Artdemon323 @blowflyboy @sammymac1071 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 Kobe and LeBron were on better teams than they were playing against. Jordan was on a Bulls team with no the competent players.
English

@sammymac1071 @_ImJordo @Artdemon323 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 You’re right. Don’t deny my bias. Bad performance on his part. But I want to win a championship with pieces around me, I’m picking MJ over the other two. Every time. Shot as efficiently as LeBron, while taking Kobe like shots. Can get to the rim as well. Best of both worlds.
English

@blowflyboy @_ImJordo @Artdemon323 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 Hey, this was the ECF to make it to the finals…can’t knock the other two and not this one..

English

@Artdemon323 @sammymac1071 @_ImJordo @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 Everybody has flaws, but for the most part other than shooting from 3 Jordan doesn’t really have any. Has a lot less than others. 2 3 peats, while shooting 50% from the fire or for basically his career, and averaging 30 is hard to beat.
English

@blowflyboy @sammymac1071 @_ImJordo @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 You said MJ was your GOAT and said these series disqualify Kobe and LeBron from the GOAT debate. So it’s not a stray.
That being said. It seems a little like gate keeping. MJ’s allowed to fail and be less than. Where Kobe and LeBron are not.
English

@sammymac1071 @_ImJordo @Artdemon323 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 Can’t defend that either. But that’s also not the finals. lol MJ done caught a stay now. 😂 This convo can go on forever if, if we really start nit picking.
English

@blowflyboy @_ImJordo @Artdemon323 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 What about Jordan being up 2-1 vs pistons in 89 and then losing 3 straight because:

English

@_ImJordo @sammymac1071 @Artdemon323 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 2004 for Kobe is indefensible. That’s hat I was talking about. And LeBron is 2011
English

@blowflyboy @sammymac1071 @Artdemon323 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 2004? Are you being serious right now?
English

@sammymac1071 @Artdemon323 @_ImJordo @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 He quit on that team. I’m not defending it. That wasn’t fear though. He just quit. Which honestly isn’t better from a competitor standpoint point.
English

@blowflyboy @Artdemon323 @_ImJordo @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 What about in 2006 when they blew a 3-1 lead to phoenix in first rd(Amare didn’t play) and REFUSING to shoot in the second half of game 7 to “prove a point”?
English

@_ImJordo @sammymac1071 @Artdemon323 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 Yes, as I explained in the post before. They were both historically bad finals performances, but you seem to only have smoke for 1. Kobe was selfish. LeBron was scared. Why won’t anybody admit that?
English

@blowflyboy @sammymac1071 @Artdemon323 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 Kobe played horribly. Do you think otherwise?
You just said yourself that LeBron only needed to play slightly better to win. The Pistons smashed the Lakers.
English

@sammymac1071 @Artdemon323 @_ImJordo @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 He shouldn’t have been the 3rd leading scorer though. For me both 2004 and 2011 are indefensible, those two performances automatically take both out of any goat debate, stats be damned. Dropping off the in 4th quarter like that is 100% a confidence issue.
English

@blowflyboy @Artdemon323 @_ImJordo @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 I’m not disagreeing with ya sir lol was just showing how good the heat played with him playing as the third scorer on the team. Can’t discredit the mavs though for their run they had that playoffs
English

@blowflyboy @sammymac1071 @Artdemon323 @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 Bron playing slightly better would have won them a ring. Kobe would have had to redo everything he even attempted to do. Thats the difference.
English

@sammymac1071 @Artdemon323 @_ImJordo @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 Guys come one. I can confidently say Kobe shot the lakers out of the 2004 finals, and had he been less selfish, they could’ve have won. Bron shied away from the moment, in 2011, whether he was better as a facilitator or not. Had he played slightly better, they could’ve have won.
English

@Artdemon323 @blowflyboy @_ImJordo @FeelTheRein @TheTruth8240 The heat played at their best when he was the facilitator for bosh and wade that’s proven facts because they had shit point guards that whole season. Should he have turned up the notch in the finals yeah of course! He was playing like 44-46 mins a night in that playoff though

English

@_ImJordo @FeelTheRein @Artdemon323 @sammymac1071 @TheTruth8240 Honestly I respect that. I think he has a solid case for top 5. Just not the goat for me. Definitely somebody you build a team around that makes those around him better, and you don’t have to worry about ego or character issues.
English

@blowflyboy @FeelTheRein @Artdemon323 @sammymac1071 @TheTruth8240 All in all I think that due to what he accomplished, when he accomplished it, and how he went about accomplishing it makes him the GOAT.
Tim Duncan showed up to work and left it all on the floor every time he laced it up, and I will forever hold him to the highest standard.
