@blscktimbs I made that SAME connection! This movie was too good!

Still working on my review of #Obsession but loved the subtle nod to Get Out during the dinner scene with Nikki and Bear

it reminds me of that scene from It Chapter Two when Beverly goes to visit her childhood home and encounters Pennywise disguised as Mrs. Kersh

im surprised i have not seen anyone talk about this scene in obsession. this was by far the most creepiest and memorable moment for me in the film (barr from the gruesome scenes), because those movements are not human, it is so inhumane and otherworldly.

I saw someone else say that there was no subtle build up to the plot but like……. didn’t we already know the plot by watching the previews?

Radical, riveting, relevant, and at times, ridiculous. @BootsRiley’s bold, exaggerated approach to tackling real-world issues pulls you straight into his mind filled with color, clay, chaos, and curiosity. Watching this one felt like witnessing a kid splatter paint across a canvas. #ILoveBoosters

y’all do not want black woman characters to be human bc you’re conditioned to think that black women are not allowed humanity
kevin blue@kevinblue345
The “angry Black woman” stereotype has been perpetuated for over a century through biased portrayals in film, music, and society, leaving lasting effects on Black women in workplaces, schools, and society as a whole.
