🔥 @usf_army strikes one of Russia’s largest ports. @1usc_army and @Raid_413 alongside Ukraine’s Defense Forces hit the Ust-Luga terminal, a key node in Russia’s energy exports. Ust-Luga powers the “shadow fleet” that keeps cash flowing despite sanctions. Now that flow is burning. Every such strike chips away at the system funding the war.

BREAKING: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. declared a national energy emergency on March 24 2026, effective for one year. The Philippines has 53 days of gasoline, 46 days of diesel, and 39 days of jet fuel remaining. Gasoline prices have risen 35 to 45 percent in a single week. The government has shifted to a four-day workweek to conserve fuel. Flights may be grounded. The country is switching to dirtier Euro-II fuel standards because cleaner fuel is no longer available in sufficient quantities. People in Manila are walking to work. The Philippines does not produce meaningful quantities of oil. It imports over 90 percent of its crude from the Gulf. The pipeline runs from the Persian Gulf, through the Strait of Hormuz, across the Indian Ocean, through the Malacca Strait, and into Philippine refineries. Every link in that chain is now under stress. The Hormuz gate has collapsed traffic 70 to 80 percent. The IRGC’s permissioned toll system accepts yuan and USDT, not dollars. The tankers that do transit carry cargo for China, India, and the shadow fleet. The Philippines is not on the guest list. This is what a chokepoint war looks like 7,000 kilometres from the chokepoint. GDP contraction is projected at 1.8 to 2.5 percent for Q2 2026. Inflation has spiked to 6.8 to 7.2 percent, driven by fuel transmission into transport, food, and electricity. The stock exchange has fallen 11.4 percent year to date. Remittances, 10 percent of GDP, are at risk as overseas workers face rising costs. The worst energy shock since 1973. The viral videos show commuters walking along EDSA and Commonwealth Avenue in Manila. These are not protests. These are people who cannot afford the jeepney fare because diesel costs have doubled. The walking is not a political statement. It is an economic fact. The fuel that powered the jeepney came from a refinery that processed crude that transited Hormuz that is now a permissioned gate operated by the IRGC that charges tolls in yuan to tankers approved by a vetting process that the Philippines has no access to and no leverage over. The Philippines did not start this war. It has no position on Iran’s nuclear programme, no opinion on zero enrichment, no seat in the Abraham Accords, no mention in any backchannel communique. But it imports 90 percent of its oil from the region where those negotiations are failing, and the failure is measured in walking commuters and a four-day workweek for a nation of 115 million. This is the second-order cost of the Nitrogen Trap. The first order is energy prices, insurance premiums, and Hormuz tolls. The second order is the Filipino nurse who walks two hours to her hospital shift because the jeepney cannot run. The third order, arriving in April, is the rice farmer who cannot afford the diesel to pump irrigation water because the fertiliser that fed the soil came from natural gas that transited a strait that is now a toll booth collecting yuan. The molecules are trapped at the source. The consequences arrive at the periphery. The Philippines is the canary. It will not be the last. Thirty-nine days of jet fuel. Forty-six days of diesel. Fifty-three days of gasoline. The countdown runs whether or not the pause expires Saturday, whether or not the 15-point plan finds a taker, whether or not MBS calls Trump again. The molecules do not know where Manila is. They know they cannot get there. open.substack.com/pub/shanakaans…

Trump wants $2 billion a day to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. A senator points out it was open before the war started. So the plan was: close it, then charge to reopen it. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

Ukraine attacked Russia’s largest oil port in the Baltic Sea to prevent it from benefiting from rising oil prices: about 60% of Russia’s maritime oil exports pass through the port of Primorsk.

(Reuters) - At least 40% of Russia's oil export capacity is at a halt following Ukrainian drone attacks, a disputed attack on a major pipeline and the seizure of tankers, according to Reuters calculations based on market data. The shutdown is the most severe oil supply disruption in the modern history of Russia, the world's second largest oil exporter, and has hit Moscow just as oil prices exceeded $100 a barrel due to the Iran war. Russia's oil output is one of the main sources of revenue for the national budget and is central to the $2.6 trillion economy. UKRAINE HAS INCREASED ATTACKS Ukraine intensified drone attacks on Russia's oil and fuel export infrastructure this month, hitting all three of Russia's major western oil export ports, including Novorossiysk on the Black Sea and Primorsk and Ust-Luga on the Baltic Sea. According to Reuters calculations, about 40% of Russia's crude oil export capabilities - or around 2 million barrels per day, were shut as of Wednesday after the most recent attack. That includes Primorsk and Ust-Luga as well as the Druzhba pipeline, which runs through Ukraine to Hungary and Slovakia. Kyiv has also targeted pipeline oil pumping stations and refineries. Kyiv says it aims to diminish Moscow's oil and gas revenue, which accounts for around a quarter of Russia's state budget proceeds, and weaken its military might. Russia says the Ukrainian strikes are terrorist attacks and has tightened security across its 11 time zones.

Absolute bombshell. General Jim Mattis completely destroys Trump's Iran war strategy on live TV. He says hitting 15,000 targets means nothing without a real plan, and calls the demands for unconditional surrender and regime change absolute "delusional nonsense."

🚨 HOLY CRAP! President Trump just confirmed that Iran has pledged to never pursue a nuclear weapon as negotiations continue They're caving. "It all starts with never getting a nuclear weapon...they've agreed. THEY WILL NEVER have a nuclear weapon." This would be huge! 🇺🇸

@PressSec @WhiteHouse About memes? Quote: Veterans who were already questioning the war’s strategy and endgame, were unnerved to find the nation’s highest office posting pop-music-scored clips of missile strikes, mixed with footage from Call of Duty and “SpongeBob SquarePants.” Making fun of war.

Pete Hegseth, Secretary of War – a title he requested because “Defense” sounded too apologetic has announced that Iran’s defeat is the greatest in human history. Not Napoleon at Waterloo. Not Berlin in 1945. This. “They are toast, and they know it,” he told reporters, apparently unaware that the Strait of Hormuz was still closed and oil had just hit $93 a barrel. Famous last words. Dear President @realdonaldtrump this is what our failing right leader @GeertWilders is doing, desperately seeking attention ratting out our prime minister and perfectly willing to hurt our national interests. Please don’t trust him, he is the biggest loser of the last elections, a fake nationalist like yourself, with no friends left. Sad and pathetic! Thank for your attention to this matter.
Geert Wilders@geertwilderspvv

Dear President @realDonaldTrump this is what the new Dutch Prime Minister @MinPres Jetten wrote about you after you won the elections in November 2024: “Trump, a convicted criminal, becomes president of the US. A misogynist who wants to take away hard-won freedoms, such as abortion. A man who openly flirts with dictators. What lies ahead are years of chaos, division, and recklessness.” Please don’t trust him, the man is a leftish liberal politician and an enemy of the people and he hates your guts. He is now also attacking @PM_ViktorOrban who is a thousand times better leader then Jetten himself.

Let me explain what just happened 👇 5 minutes before the President announced a halt to attacks on Iran… someone placed a $1.5 BILLION bet on stocks going up and dumped $192 million in oil. 5 minutes… These trades were 4 to 6 times larger than anything else in the entire market. Whoever did this wasn’t guessing. You don’t risk $1.5 billion on a hunch. There was zero public indication this announcement was coming. No leaks. No press. Nothing. The only people who knew were in the room when the decision was made. Someone in that room picked up a phone. And within minutes they made more money than most Americans will earn in a thousand lifetimes. In a single trade. On a war that cost you $4+ a gallon gas and $16 billion in tax dollars. American citizens funded this war. Politicians are profiting from it. This is not the first time. Every major announcement from this administration has had massive suspicious trades right before it dropped. Tariff reversals. Policy shifts. War decisions. This is the most blatant insider trading operation in the history of American politics. It’s not even close. And it’s happening over and over in broad daylight. You would go to federal prison for trading on a tip from your cousin. These people are front running war decisions with billion dollar bets and nobody will ever ask a single question. Nobody will be investigated. Nobody will be charged. By tomorrow this will be buried under the next satisfying headline. Just like last time. And the time before that. The game is rigged. And they’re not even trying to hide it anymore… @barkmeta

Absolute bombshell. James O'Brien exposes massive insider trading just before Trump announced a ceasefire. 8 newly created accounts placed massive bets on a US-Iran ceasefire with obvious insider knowledge. The corruption of this war is staggering.
