a lot has happened in my personal life since march and i’m currently in a major transitional phase 🙇 my thesis project had been nominated multiple times for awards and rewarded. i’m now working towards publishing my work in a scientific journal. i graduate with my masters in 3 weeks! i do have some full time work lined up on the horizon so unfortunately the grind must continue. and finally i’m looking to move in with my partner with the intent to wed in the near future. entering your late 20s is a drastic shift from your early 20s but i am navigating through adulthood with grace. it’s difficult to ascertain when i will be as engaged with the community here like before, or post art frequently - but once i am able to settle down again i hope to bear my groundings again and find enjoyment towards the series i love once again. thank you for your patience!

I always found the "inauspicious face" comment funny in japanese novels but I've never heard the moon comment before. Also, Morimi's plots are fairly engaging, all things parallel universe wise.

Finished reading "The Tatami Galaxy"; the insults towards Ozu's appearance are so bizarrely creative. A creepy looking fellow with an inauspicious-looking face, the color of which made him look like he'd been living on the farside of the moon. The narrator's best friend.

I've read a lot of good and interesting webnovels, some with writing that is much more verbose but this author is one of my favorite's for plots. It really is hard to write something that is so long that is quick paced with a very intricate plot that doesn't end up simplified.

I hope Baek Deok-su writes a hundred more webnovels. Their ability to write well written side characters, hated and loved, is excellent. The consistent interweaving plot that mentions every small detail for a reason, that will be refrenced back eventually, is a great skill.

If you end up as a person who wants to save others, who can do it, who tries for it; it is all the more sad when you fail. He knows it well. He has tried very hard not to be as such. So, I think there is something sad about realizing you care for someone in their final moments.

Most of the characters in GSGW are very selfless, Saheon is not one of them. He has elected not to care about anyone due to his own self preservation. All of those past experiences that have made selfishness necessary.
