@orbitzenluvie @catmks wasnt a fan back then so i wouldnt know. i say this because it's still better than wtv started happening 2020 onwards.
English

@blueblossoming @catmks Really? I remember a lot of armys at the time really disliked Boy with luv and considered it kinda watered down compared to their previous music.

they only had a good discography until like 2018 so their continued growth after that makes no sense to me

I still have no idea why they became huge (genuinely)

@dionysusonfire weirdly enough, i like reading books set in summer but not because it's all sunshine and goodness, but because i associate summer w a suffocating environment. it's a great setting for a coming-of-age imo

saying that an arts and humanities education lead to empathetic tendencies is not just patronising but also completely incorrect.
fuck it we bawl@fuckitwebawl_
Arts and humanities students can learn to code in a few weeks but tech bros can never master something as basic as empathy.

For people who live in delhi, there is an in person course on creative writing which consists of weekly classes — delivered by SACAC. it's open to people of all ages and working professionals too! I've heard wonderful things from people who've done it: sac.ac.in/creative-writi…

English

@blueblossoming yeahh, i really wish i liked it, but unfortunately i couldn't get past the first chapter 😅
English

yuni 💫 °booktwt°@blueblossoming

English

@blueblossoming i personally hated carmilla and with hungerstone being a retelling ... i just didn't vibe with it at all!
English

@mojitoearp hungerstone is a loose retelling of carmilla! warning though, it IS horror and the imagery may be upsetting 🙃

@grveyardshifts and the author's intent! that is the part that bothers me a lot 😭 since the author obviously wrote it as a cautionary tale against homosexual "deviancy" im female relationships.
English

@blueblossoming or at least give a proper warning that it’s NOT a romance nor even close to romantic in this aspect
English

@blueblossoming especially when there’s so many retellings like why ruin their expectations with the original😭
English

@_cielciel my bad, i didn't say what i meant specifically. but you're right. they are usually lumped together with books which are obviously romance-centered, which really irritates me 😭
English

@blueblossoming i mean, it does have sapphic tones, even if those tones are not romantic whatsoever, and are mostly abusive/toxic. i feel like it's fine to include but with a note that it's not romantic.
