I am home. I have gotten all my critters back where they belong. I am crying happy tears. They are fairly stressed. Poor little Nicki has some scours. I will be keeping a close eye on her. Pigs are all good. Very tired!! I can not express how thankful I am for everyone's prayers. This could have gone an entirely different direction. The fire is not contained as yet. I left my daughter at my mom's. Hubby and I are hanging here. I truly believe that we are going to be fine! Again thank you all!! ❤️

My neighbor just texted me. The cameras at her place came back on and it seems like we are good so far!! Thank you for all of your prayers.. I still can't get home. The roads are all closed.. keep praying! It's working . Love all of yall 💕

My hubby is letting all of my animals out. The fire is 1 road away. Hopefully they make it to the river... I am going to be sick..

@CrubersGate Sweet neighbor, you are blessed. So cool that you’re growing your grandmother’s pecans. It will be a glorious tree & harvest one day soon 🙏🏼❤️

Today our neighbor helped us plant the baby pecan tree that I have raised from a nut off my great aunt’s 97 year old tree. We bartered the use of our flat bed and a 100G aux diesel pump tank in exchange for him digging a hole or three for us too… 🥹 I actually picked up pecans from under the “mother tree” since I was a child, and up until the 2023 tornado destroyed it… Now hopefully (if it survives this “late”transplant) my little granddaughters might grow up eating exactly the same old heirloom pecans that their dad, their grandma, their great grandma and their great great aunt enjoyed! My mom and great aunt would be SO proud of this… (🤣 neighbor had to wind up shoveling for us, pop pop just can’t and I popped my neck trying to pitch shovels of dirt with ironstone in it… He’s absolutely the best neighbor ever!)

@MikeBales I would grab a bowl of that, slice up some bananas and chow down 😂

Found out today that a young man that I admire a lot had a tractor roll over on him and is critical condition! It was a bad one. If you are a praying person please say a prayer for him. He Just got married 3 weeks ago😢
