@monksthemonkey but the announcement of sulphur cubes predate the release of this april fools update. what i’m implying is that this might me minecraft’s way to text out dynamic lighting or some other feature

Those whole updates are just them messing with already existing code, be it from current or future features

@MulberryRainy people always look on the downside of these updates but think about it this way. minecraft is a 17 year old game that weve been getting consistent free updates for since release. and these updates always have new features, new blocks, new mechanics, & new mobs. so its not all bad

@rowxnburiedit @Minecraft yeah @Mojang has been doing really good listening to our feedback in recent updates. the most recent example being the golden dandelion being added in response to the community wanting to keep the baby mobs young forever.
