@bluesaint72 Thank you. They managed 36 hours - just - but only if you start counting from admission to ward!! Tbf her potassium level was low so that needed attention.

My stepmother arrived at A and E @LeedsHospitals delivered by ambulance with a broken hip. She has been waiting for attention since 12.00 . There appear to be no beds. It’s beyond belief.

@TheStingisBack One of my favourite lines from a comedy film - “those aren’t pillows”!

John Candy died OTD in 1994. Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987) I still remember the roar of audience laughter during the pillows scene with Steve Martin. The attention to detail here is great. I only recently noticed the dirty palm prints either side of the painting. Glorious
