If you are upset about Kennedy Center or any other cuts or changes made by President Trump then: 1) march downtown to a populated area 2) ask for people for donations to support the cause by making your case 3) repeat until you raise the funding. It’s called voluntarism. It’s a peaceful, non-coercive way to fund things. (Remember to also donate yourself.) When tax dollars are used to fund things, the politicians are stealing worker wages under threat of violence - if you don’t pay, men with guns will eventually do violence to you. This is not moral or ethical. Good ideas don’t need to be funded at the point of a gun. If people like an idea or cause they can voluntarily pay for it. If not enough people are willing to voluntarily pay for something then it is even more clearly unethical and immoral to force them to pay. America is the most generous nation on earth and its citizens have voluntarily funded countless charities, libraries, research projects, art and social causes with no government involvement whatsoever. Do not dare or presume to have the moral right to take the fruits of another’s labor. Let individuals have power to decide where their money goes.
