It’s interesting that while the western “community” whining over not getting every VRC+ feature for free, the Japanese community consider paying yearly VRC+ subscription as a “residential tax” they owe the devs to keep the server running. It’s more than cultural differences guys

Coments in this post be like: "VRC sucks now bc they prioritize making money and is not cool anymore like before EAC" My brother in Christ, if they dont push a way to get money, the next news will be about VRC closing bc they couldn't find a way to make it profitable... (LIKE REC ROOM, HELLO!?) VRC is cool, the most complete VR Social game out there. They have to find a way to get money bc if not, bye bye VRC. It has flaws but you cannot compare with other games or companies with 10 more zeros in their budget. VRC is trying to save, earn and invest money in their platform has much as possible. For adults, kids are a pain on the ass, and for kids, adults are a bother, you will never get everybody happy. "Oh but what about age verification behind a paywall? Get free verification would protect kids". Yes, it can be true, but verification is expensive. If one verification user cost, for example, a dollar, if you have 1 million account verified, its A LOT of money. VRChat is not like Roblox where a single game can reach over 10 MILLIONS USERS. VRChat highest user count is 160K... maybe roblox has money to burn and invest on everything they need, but VRChat is a fraction of Roblox, Epic Games, etc. If you dont want to see VRC falling in the same destiny as Rec Room, buy VRC+, invite your friends to try the game. VRC is doing everything they can, but as players on a FREE TO PLAY GAME, as players who loves and enjoy this virtual realm, is our duty to give our grain of sand to avoid the end of this. I can guarantee that, those typicals users who complain and say shit about VRC (and they still play 8 hours daily), would want to die if VRC dies. Support the platform you enjoy, support your favorite game, and BUY MY FACE TRACKING ADDONS FOR KEMONO AVATARS 😎👌🏻 Anyways, VRC is cool, next question.
